Sales and Business Development Manager

The position of Sales and Business Development Manager is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with a primary focus on the EU market. The role is to ensure business development and sales of Nectain e-commerce solutions for future customers and existing partners, to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and building positive relationships. There is considerable potential to grow our current market share worldwide with both new and existing customer accounts. This growth will come both from geographical expansion and from developing our sales networks in existing markets. The position will involve a high degree of international travel. The role is suited to a confident, and organized, sales professional, who has worked in a similar role and similar industries such as SaaS solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set business development strategy and ellaborate tactical plans for the target markets
  • Manage and lead regional business development activities to generate revenue in line with business plan
  • Execute business plans and drive achievement of sales targets for the assigned customers Set sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
  • Locate, research and plan new market and client opportunities
  • Define on partnership roadmap and execute on partnership opportunities in the target markets
  • Manage clients expectations in coordination with Marketing, Technology and Operations Offices on new products development
  • Guide the sales team and the sales process in reaching set targets

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
  • High level of communication, influencing skills. Working with multiple clients outside organization.
  • Fluent English and native dutch,
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills,
  • Strong interpersonal skills,
  • Proven managerial records,
  • Accomplished projects and new product/solution development
  • Sales generation experience
  • Specific areas of experience: ERP Systems, Spend Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Solutions
