Digital Procurement Forum “The future begins today” of 13 April (Klitschko Expo, Kyiv) has recently become a single point of contact to attract the best Supply Chain & Sourcing community and B2B buyers from all over Ukraine and internationally. The event hosted by KSE in cooperation with Nectain welcomed lots of visitors and speakers representing local agribusiness, FMCG, heavy machinery, service industry, and public sector. The organizer of the event is the Procurement Improvement Center of the Kiev School of Economics together with Nectain.
The unique atmosphere of the whole conversation was encouraged by Timofey Milovanov being the Honorary President of KS. His opening video message broadcasted online from the United States was expressing the warmest greetings and welcomed the audience to the session. The main focus was on Digital Transformation in today’s procurement and Supply Chain Management. Among the others, the key topics of the event covered the latest developments and most important software innovations emerging in the realm of Strategic Sourcing and Effective Spend Management. Volodymyr Stetsyuk, a member of CEP Supervisory Board emphasized the need to take on innovative approaches and their speedy implementation with a world-famous quote by James P. Carroll: “Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”.
The discussion moved to a global trend for on-going digitalization and development: “Companies must be responsive in order to meet the modern challenges, that’s why business owners, CPOs, top executives, Procurement leaders, and their teams have to get prepared for a full-fledged Digital Procurement Transformation which now only keeps gaining momentum”.
Ruslan Safarov, CEO Nectain in his dynamic speech covered the major software trends and live developments from Supply Chain Optimization and Effective Spend Management. But what had actually called the attention of the audience was the exciting demo presentation of Nectain E-Planning and E-Sourcing tool proudly introduced by Mr. Safarov himself.
The forum was also attended by lots of other skilled Procurement practitioners, business executives and Supply Chain leaders representing the word’s top-famous brands, such as Coca-Cola Hellenic, Mondelez International, Cirtuo, BNP Paribas Group, and even more! And the bottom line of the event was all about taking another crucial step on the way to creating a rock-solid foundation needed to wholly realize the essence of today’s Procurement driven primarily with software innovation and digitization. Ultimately, that would help us develop the right model of Effective Spend Management and properly employ the best Procurement tools & optimal software solutions making it possible to build a fully sustainable and winning business.
